The origin of gem skulls can will more often than not be a rather puzzling topic. Some portion of the issue arises on the grounds that quartz gem is a characteristic stone that comes from the Earth, therefore we cannot scientifically measure the gem. The main way that science can at present gauge the age of a gem carving is by examining its surface to check whether there is any proof showing how it was cut, and whether it shows old or current tool marks, or now and again, no imprints by any means
